Seems a long while since we last wrote something really, but that’s just a sign of how time flies when you are having fun! Our intrepid scooterists have come and gone – 500 miles (800km) in one day was their record and they were exhausted but they did it! Seeing a UK registered scooter sitting on our car park naturally raised a few eyebrows – many people just refuse to believe they had ridden it all the way from northern England!

We have also had some Italian bikes here, which is nice. One came with a Russian pillion. so Jane spent several hours with an online translator and produced us some menus in Italian and Russian! See – I knew having her here was going to be worth it! She is coming to the end of her stay with us and trying to fit in a trip to Oberammergau before she leaves – not easy as there are very few tickets released on any given day. If anyone has any ideas???

Thanks to our new website we have seen an increase in web hits this month of about 50%. This includes visits from 37 different countries from every continent except for Anarctica. That is a really pleasing statistic! We look forward to welcoming some very interesting guests in the months to come! Meanwhile we are planning some exciting events in 2011 to tempt you all to come – or come back – to see us. Watch this space for some news soon!
