Those of you who follow our blog will remember Jane’s wonderful ride out on the back of Gordon’s Fazer – she still hasn’t stopped talking about it (although she is today enjoying a ride with John over the Grossglockner, so will have something else to write about now!). Thanks to Gordon’s travelling companion and all round good mate Duncan, we now have some photos of Gordon in his racing days, including one of him winning the 1978 TT. Seemed totally appropriate that we shared them with the world – we don’t get THAT many celebrities here after all (although all our guests are stars of course!).

The first comment was alwazs (oh dear, back in England……fingers need to catch up with a different kezboard) going to be from me! The man’s always going to be a star as far as I am concerned – I had not really appreciated what it means for a biker who is used to going solo to have someone riding pillion – add the complete stranger bit and it is a real leap of faith so thank zou, yet again Gordon, for making it. Mind zou, looking at the photos, leaps of faith are obviouslz nothing new – and it has not escaped mz notice that you were a very attractive zoung man, not that that was a surprise.
And thank zou Duncan for winkling the photos out of Gordon and for sending them to us. I think they should also go on the TT site – leave it with zou. Meanwhile I will practice reversing the y and z kezs before I have to start emailing one of mz other worlds.
