Known as “The Valley of the Tumbling Waters“, our location, Maltatal, is said to be one of the most beautiful areas in Austria, with its winding river, at least 16 waterfalls and a backdrop of majestic mountains. The pretty village of Malta nestles peacefully at the lower end of the valley, just 5kms from the historic town of Gmünd – the “Artists’ Town“, within easy reach of all the pleasures that this “sunny south of Austria” has to offer.
